Who I am:

I am a data-driven marketing strategist with a proven track record of enhancing brand visibility and customer engagement within a diverse and collaborative team environment. I have demonstrated the ability to generate product awareness across multiple digital content channels, (including blog posts, success stories, emails, webinars, videos, web site and social media) which has resulted in increased product interest and most importantly, sales inquiries. Much of my career has been marketing high-tech products (optics, photonics, communications) into B2B customers for use in military, scientific and life-science applications.

Senior Vertical Marketing Lead, reporting to the Director of Marketing Communications.

Developed and distributed engaging web-based content detailing manufacturing capabilities within the Aerospace and Defense market.  Introduced new products within the Networking market that support emerging AI/ML demands. Worked with web team and product managers to plan and execute concise new product introductions using press releases, web, blogs, social media, and videos. 

  • Created lead nurture campaigns that generated $115M in influenced pipeline in first year.

  • Achieved MQL>SQL conversion rates that consistently exceeded the company average of 34%.

  • Grew customer prospect list from a few hundred to six thousand+.

Worked with small optics/photonics businesses deemed ‘essential’ to the defense industry during COVID. Helped clients to strengthen messaging on their websites and across social media. Introduced webinar capabilities to drive greater customer engagement and provide more value-add to clientele. 

  • Arranged monthly webinars and assisted clients with content development that averaged 120 people live, aided with post-completion website placement for on-demand viewing for added reach.

  • Implemented Sprout Social to centralize social media for all clients in one tool, enabling client approval of scheduled media prior to posting.

Verizon Cellular Retailer
 

Marketing and Communications Manager, reporting to the Chief Operations Officer.

Communicated bi-weekly sale promotion details across 400 US franchises. Supervised a team of four to develop promotions for Verizon approval. Managed $3M in MDF budget annually, and provided quarterly ROI reports on engagement to vendors such as Samsung, Apple, Google, LG and Kyocera. Worked with individual franchise owners to strengthen their marketing efforts within their local communities. Worked with external media agency for geo-targeting of paid search and display advertising of online promotions. Reported to Chief Operations Officer.

  • Implemented franchise-wide SharePoint initiative to unilaterally communicate all current promotions and contract terms, using the platform as the sole point of reference across the organization.

  • Worked with Training team to develop sales associate training that emphasized the importance of capturing email information at point-of-sale. Enrollment doubled in less than a year.

  • Created messaging focused on cellular solutions for the SMB market for a 45% YoY sales increase.

International Marketing Manager, reporting to the CEO.

Developed strategic marketing plans for global scientific and US night vision defense markets across multiple business units within a multi-national team of ten. Managed $2M global annual budget for trade shows, paid media, and video production. Introduced monthly email campaigns specific to vertical market segments and reported on metrics. Oversaw corporate-wide rebranding in 2017. 

  • Re-wrote website to focus on applications rather than specifications, increasing lead conversion 36%.

  • Consolidated multi-factory marketing advertising and trade show budgets, saving over $100K/year.

  • Initiated webinars to demonstrate night vision technology, generating over 300 new contacts and increasing sales 5%.
